PD-9 Data Profile and 2003 Labor Force Survey

The Regional Commission has completed two major statistical studies: a Demographic & Economic Profile of the Rappahannock-Rapidan Region and a 2003 Regional Labor Force Survey.

Made possible through funding from the Rappahannock-Rapidan Regional Partnership, the two studies are the result of a collaborative effort with area economic development officials to assemble benchmark data about the region, and collect detailed survey information on selected indicators and trends.

The studies' principal authors, Dr. John Knapp of the UVA Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service and Dr. Thomas Guterbock of the UVA Center for Survey Research, presented their findings in September 2003 in Culpeper.
