The 2006 Rappahannock-Rapidan DSB Needs
Assessment is available! The mission of the Rappahannock-Rapidan
Disability Services Board (RRDSB) is to plan and advocate for persons
of all ages in Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock Counties who have physical
and/or sensory disabilities, and to fulfill the duties and responsibilities
as specified for a Disability Services Board in Section 51.5-48, Code
of Virginia. The Board's vision is barrier-free communities supporting independent living and self-sufficiency for people with disabilities. To fulfill the mission and vision, the goals of the RRDSB are to:

The Rappahannock-Rapidan Disability Services Board meets quarterly. Meeting locations vary. Please call (540) 829-7450 to confirm meeting dates, locations, and times. Please click here for a copy of the 2006 Needs Assessment (1,090 KB) completed by the Rappahannock-Rapidan DSB in March 2006.
