The second annual RRRC Living Towns Planning Workshop was held on June 18, 2003 in the Town of Warrenton and focused on a theme of Upper Story Housing, the Arts & Asthetics: Toward a Vital and Vibrant Downtown. Three panels of speakers explored topics ranging from the Mixed-Use Zoning Ordinance development to Tourism Corridor Overlay Districts to case studies of successful live theatre operations. The workshop also featured a keynote address by Ronald Lee Fleming, President of the Townscape Institute on Corporate Visual Responsibility. Other highlights of the day included a post-workshop reception was held at the Fauquier Club and a lunchtime walking tour of the Town of Warrenton.
